"Collect Moments"

About the project

Our project is about taking different photos. We want to see the world in the eyes of our pupils. We want our pupils to reflect their imagination and feelings via photos. We also want them use English to communicate. All partner teachers talked via whatsapp to design suitable and fun tasks for the pupils and decided a weekly task list from the 1st March to 2nd June. At the end of the project, we will prepare e books, e magazines and an exhibition of the photos.

AIMS:

We want our pupils to express themselves freely. They should be more independent and self confident. They won't be criticized or evaluated. They will be accepted and respected. We also want them to use English to communicate; so their language skills will be improved. We also want them to use different web tools and applications to let them see how internet is used for different purposes such as making presentations, e books, photo editing... They will work together and collaborate. They will also comment other pupils' photos and make new friends.

WORK PROCESS:

We talked on the Whatsapp to plan the steps of this project. Our pupils will take photos according to these topics. They will be free to take any photos they like and edit them. The steps are:

1-10 March : Who am I?
10-17 March : What is friendship?
18-24 March : Go out to the street
25-31 March : Look out !
1-7 April : Sky in April
8-14 April :What's happening in 13th April at 13.00
15-21 April : Good morning
22-28 April : An Evening
29 April - 5 May : My school
6 - 12 May : My animal friends
13- 19 May : Black and White
20-26 May : Something blue
27 May - 2 June : Something that makes me smile
2 - 16 June : Evaluation of the project.

We will make an online magazine with the photos. Each school will add their pages to the magazine. Photos will be taken carefully , with permission and safe. Teachers, parents and pupils will be informed about eSafety and eTwinning first.

Pupils also will work together in a decided time and take photos to use together.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

At the end of our project, we will make an online magazine together. Each school prepare their own e-books, too. We also plan to a public twinspace, exhibition of the photos and the end of the project party.
